GE Jenbacher produces gas reciprocating gensets mounted in containers and on the frame. Jenbacher started to produce internal combustion engines in 1957. The factory is located in Jenbach in Austria. In 2003 the company was acquired by General Electric. Now in the world you can find more than 20500 working power modules of GE Jenbacher of total capacity 22000 MW.

GE Jenbacher engines work on natural gas, oil associated gas, biogas, landfill gas, etc. This property allows to use GE Jenbacher plants in those places where gas is usually burnt or threw to atmosphere as a by-product. Patent system of lean mixture burning LEANOX helps GE Jenbacher engines to adapt to methane changes allowing to stick to the working parameters.
